Wedding Photography Terms & Conditions

Booking fee (Deposit)

The Booking Fee of £300 secures the time and services of the Photographer for the wedding. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation, as it represents the agreed-upon loss suffered by the Photographer due to cancellation. Weddings that must be postponed to a later date will retain the deposit, provided the Photographer can schedule for the new date and time. However, they may be subject to a further deposit.

Following payment of the booking fee, the balance of payments must be paid 28 days before the wedding. Proofs and photographs cannot be delivered unless all outstanding payments have been made in full.

The Photographer may display any photographs included in this contract in their studio, portfolio, literature, display areas, exhibitions, competitions, advertisements, or slide shows, and on their websites, unless otherwise agreed upon by the parties involved.

All image sizes are nominal. The Photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance, but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials, especially artificial fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film or a sensor the exact colour as seen by the human eye. The Photographer will retouch, digitally manipulate, and finish the image according to their discretion. Any retouching, digital manipulation, or finishing requested by the Client(s) may be subject to an additional charge at the Photographer's discretion.

In the unlikely event that David Louden Photography is unable to perform under the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other unforeseen cause, we will make every effort to secure a suitable replacement.

The client may cancel at any time by providing notice to the photographer, but in doing so, shall forfeit any deposit paid.

Final Image Delivery: 6-12 weeks after the wedding, David Louden Photography will provide the Client with over 800 images via an online gallery.

These images are reduced in quality and are used only as a guide to selecting the final photos for the album and sharing with friends and family.

If included in your package, albums may take an additional 2-4 weeks to arrive.

Once your album has arrived, you will receive a notification. You will then receive your album, accompanied by a USB drive containing full-resolution images and no watermarks, as well as any prints included in your package.
